Two from Borehamwood charged with possession of firearms and drugs offences after warrant in Buntingford

Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with firearms and drugs offences, after officers conducted a warrant at How Green Farm on Baldock Road, Buntingford on Thursday 12 February.

Leon Short, 24, of Elstree Hill in Borehamwood has been charged with:

Paige Strutt, 21, of Saddlers Path in Borehamwood, has been charged with:

Both have been released from custody ahead of their next appearance at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday 17 March.

In addition, a 28-year-old man from Potters Bar, was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and cultivating class B drugs. He has been released on bail, while enquiries continue.

Detective Inspector Mike Ball from Hertsmere CID said: “I’d like to reassure the local community that thanks to the proactive work of officers, a quantity of Class A and Class B drugs and a firearm are now off our streets.”
